The 2009 Wolf blass Grey Labesl Shiraz Cabernet is this years winner of the Bill Redman trophy for Best Wine of Show at the 2011 Limestone Coast Wine Show. The wine is made up from fruit sourced from the Robe and Mount Benson regions. This win has given a great boost to the Mount Benson wine region.
The 2009 Wolf Blass Grey Labels Shiraz Cabernet, sourced form Robe and Mount Benson fruit not only won Best Wine of Show, but also picked up the Best Blended Red Wine Trophy, The David Wynn Trophy for Best Red Wine of Show as well as the Artuhr Hoffmann Trophy for Viticultralist of Best Wine of Show. Viticultralist Anglea Pomery was the recipient of the Arthur Hoffman trophy. The Aruthur Hoffman trophy provides funding for the recipient to travel to a wine growing area of their choice to study the viticultural practices in that region.
